Chai literally means tea. You sometimes see it as Masala Chai (means herbal tea) or Chai Latte (milk tea). But how can you make a delicious Chai?
The No.106 Earl Grey is a classic black tea with slight citrus and floral notes. With passion fruit and cinnamon, you’re definitely in for an amazingly tropical treat!
Ingredients:
- 14 grams No.106 Earl Grey
- 750 ml filtered water
- 1 passionfruit (only its flesh, around 30g)
- 1 small cinnamon stick (around 8g)
- 250 grams ice cubes
- Garnish: ice cubes and a cinnamon stick

Prepare:

Heat water
Heat the tea to 85°C. Are you using tap water? Boil the tea to 100°C and allow to cool until its reached 85°C. Meanwhile, crush the cinnamon stick in smaller pieces.

Preparing the tea
Leave the tea to steep for 2 minutes, together with the passion fruit and the crushed cinnamon. Sieve the tea and immediately add the 250g of ice cubes so the tea cools down quicker.
Serve:
Serve the ice tea in a cooled glass, with ice cubes and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
