Tea tends to grow on the other side of the world. Our tea buyer, Kiona, has been travelling alone for years to all the farmers in remote areas to find the best tea leaves, while going on some crazy adventures too. The funny yet exciting stories add to whole picture around a cup of tea. This is why all of her experiences within the countries we do direct trade with are written down in the form of a travel diary.

I am waiting on my guide in the lobby with a huge package. This stuff is already going towards the Netherlands and will even arrive earlier than I will arrive. I prefer to fly in everything, because that's the best for the quality.

Intense climb on Chinese teamountain

It's my last day in the beautiful tea area Wuyishan. Today we are going to climb a mountain! The weather is looking good so I put on my mountain shoes and I am walking downstairs. Breakfast! For the last time. The shrimps taste good on this early morning.
